Money Envelope Game
Although it's just a short flash game, I think you should check it out. It reminded me of oldschool adventures, and it has Cartoon Network characters Perhaps it will be inspiring for someone's own game project.

I went through the trouble of getting shockwave to work under linux just to play that game a while ago. - edited December 2010What about the one, with all the different Cartoon Network characters on a beach, and they give you kind of like, adventure quests? I loved that game. I believe there was a resort(and possibly the word Resort in the name) and there was a giant tennis-playing mech(I believe Dexter built it).
